I've been thinking a lot this past week about goals, especially ever since I responded to Wolfgang's entry. I've never been really good at following set schedules unless they had to do with Quidditch but I suppose now that I'm an "adult" that will have to change now and I have to take responsibilities more seriously and do ... adult-people-things. Like schedules. Although, those goals I doubt have a set schedule. You can't really put personal growth on a time table. It just doesn't work on that. However, I think there are somethings that I need to stop procrastinating on and just do them already because I'm sure if I keep delaying them and worrying about them I'm going to form a complex and give myself a neurosis. If I was the type to give myself complexes. Which I'm not. No complexes for me. I'm fine. It's not like I have anything to worry about, and I've already made the first steps towards my goal. I got into the programme that I wanted to get into. I'm quite proud of myself. I'll be even more proud of myself when I figure out how to tell Maman about it. I think sacrificing my pride and letting her set me up on a date or two might be a very small step towards softening the blow. A step might not be a leap, especially if you want to argue that steps and leaps are two completely different forms of movement. They might be, but I think it all depends on the situation. I wouldn't mind it being a leap, just so you know. And I think I have Dad under control. Maybe. Wish me luck.

If all goes well, I'll be getting the flat that I want by this weekend. If they don't ... well, I'll figure something out. I can't say where because Maman won't appreciate me telling anyone ~~at all~~ not family before she does. But it's really ace. And it's not in Hogsmeade, so no spiders!

I'll give you a hint though. Brown. Lots and lots of brown.
